The material world is not the only component of the universe. Often, the more subtle levels of being are fundamental and primary. Matter is just one form of expression of energy. Accordingly, without energy (Prana), our consciousness is not able to fully manifest itself in the physical world. In turn, Prana without consciousness becomes uncontrollable. The unity of consciousness and energy is the basis of life.
Circulating in the etheric body, prana unites the physical and energetic bodies and provides them with everything they need. If nothing interferes with the movement of Prana, our body receives everything it needs (air, water, food), impressions and information. Thanks to it, what is needed is absorbed and what is unnecessary is removed from the body.
By controlling Prana, a person is able to take control not only of the body, but also of the mind. When we have enough internal energy, we feel joy and satisfaction. Our body is healthy and functioning properly, and our mind is in balance.
If Prana is in short supply and does not provide the body with the necessary substances, then we try to compensate for what is needed with more food and impressions. As a result, we get illnesses, excess weight, depression, despondency, etc.
When Prana is in abundance, we feel strong and are ready to literally move mountains. We have a strong and resilient body that practically does not need food or sleep to recover. And the mind generates ideas and receives new awareness and insights.
There is one key point in all this - it’s not so important how much energy you have, how important it is to be able to manage it. Some people are born in a perfect body and, initially possessing a huge amount of energy, waste it at an early age on pleasures and entertainment, becoming decrepit old people by the age of 30. Others, on the contrary, initially without any special advantages, develop themselves throughout their lives and in old age look younger than their years. And they don’t just look, they live to the fullest. The key to their success is the ability to accumulate and retain Prana, as well as to manage it wisely.
In the east there is a wonderful metaphor symbolizing man:
“The cart is our body.” To maintain its vital functions, it does not require a lot of energy, but nevertheless it should be enough to move around.
“Horses are our feelings, thoughts, desires.” If they don't have enough care, they will run wherever they want. Therefore, horses need to be trained and kept in check.
“The reins are the will.” With its help, we manage our horses, preventing them from getting out of control.
“The cab driver is the mind or the mind.” He must have strength, care and patience. And also - endurance, so as not to fall asleep on the move, and good hearing, so as not to miss the Passenger’s orders. If the driver does not have enough strength to cope with the horses, all our energy will be spent on reining them in and will essentially be wasted, and the carriage in which the passenger, the Soul, is riding, will never reach its destination.
“The passenger (Master) is our Soul and ourselves.” This is who we really are, not who we identify with. Only the Passenger knows the real purpose of the trip (our life) and he fills it with meaning.
Prana manifests itself here as the strength and endurance of horses, the strength and stability of the cart, the strength and elasticity of the reins, as well as the strength and skill of the cab driver. Prana is the allocated part of the Soul’s energy, manifested by its intention to merge with Consciousness. It is Prana or internal energy that ensures the success of human life.
A modern person needs to learn to increase, maintain, balance, direct and purify his Prana in order to live a full and high-quality life. All programs, consultations and, in general, the activities of Psikosmos Academy are aimed at this in one way or another.
